I started planning a trip In January of 2001 for November of 2001. I was on the DIS almost every day. By this time last year the boards were full of information about November...rates, NJ week, Thanksgiving, crowds, weather, etc.

I'm not really seeing many questions/info about October, November or December. We're not going until 2003, but I can't stay away from the boards and this lack of reading about the end of the year concerns me.

Please ease my mind.....there will be families at the World later this year, won't there?

Soccer Mom, I'll be there at the very beginning of November. Right now there will be four of us (subject to grow if the rest of my family decides to invite themselves along like they did on my last WDW vacation!).

As you can see from my countdown I will be in the World over Thanksgiving and then my DH and I will be back in January for our 10 year anniversary trip without any kids YEAH!! It will be our first time to vaca without them and our first time with AP's. We love that time of year, and I know that you will enjoy it too.

We too will be in the "World" during November...staying at the Beach Club Villas...we too will be going without our DC...they don't know about the trip yet. I am saving the "big news" so that I don't have to hear the "why can't we go toooooooo!!!!" Now, if I could just make November get there faster!!!

We plan on arriving the Saturday before Thanksgiving at AsMo for five nites and on Thanksgiving Day we check into the Poly Concierge for five days. Our 13th Wedding Anniversary is the same day as the MVMCP. (Does anyone know if they still do the Jolly Holidays Dinner Show?) I have read that the week before T-Day is usually "crowded", but I figure we'll have another 5 days of the AFTER T-Day crowd and still enjoy the MVMCP while we are there too! What a way to kick off the Holiday Season! Really sets the mood!!!! :Pinkbounc :jester: :bounce:

A few years back we were at AsMu during the Holiday Season and it was great! The only thing that vacation lacked was warmer weather. That year was when FL had the frost and we were down there in Sweatshirts every day! LOL As NYers we were used to it, but we were originally looking forward to being able to swim, but no biggie -- we spent more time (and $$$) at the parks! LOL :p

Now I just gotta be sure to finish my holiday shopping for everyone BEFORE I leave, that way all I buy while on vacation will be mine mine mine!!! LOL I am sure I will be buying some presents for special folks while there too!:jester:

I'm hoping to be there the week of the 16th-23, to celebrate both my birthday (the 21st), and my friends (the 22nd) and even though we haven't made ressies yet, we hope to stay at CBR, and there will be two others with us.

Going solo the weekend before Thanksgiving (Nov.22-26). Right now I have ressies at POR, but I'm on the waiting list for BWV.

We are going too!! I hope it is not tooo crowded with Jersey Week. We are staying in a 2 bedroom BCV. If our wait list comes through we will be there 6 nights, if not 3 at BCV and 3 at OKW. Anyone else have insight on crowds during Jersey Week:(

Myself, DD8 and DM will be there 11/9-15. Will be our 4th November and each trip has been better than the last. We did notice it being more crowded last year w/Vets day and 'Jersey' week but managable. It really emptied out after Vets day. The only real horrible time was the crowd to see Spectromagic on Saturday. Never used Fasspass.

Weather has been pretty good. May rain some but you just go and do anyway.

DD has year round school and we could go in September to grab the good Colorado resident code but we decided it was just too hot then. So have ressie at the Dolphin at a good rate but still hoping for codes for that time.

There are plenty of families and still plenty of kids!

We will be there from Nov. 10 through Nov. 15. Staying at Boardwalk Villas!!! Can't wait....:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

:smooth: :smooth: We will be at Disney Nov11-17 staying at All-Star Sports and then cruising on the Disney Wonder Nov 17-22:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc We are soooooo excited and hope for wonderful weather. This is our first Disney vaction as a family (me, DH, DS-9, and DD-6). :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

We'll be there - Nov 9 -17, DH and me for our 10th Anniversary!

We are arriving at CBR on Nov. 16th... right now we are holding steady with a DC rate, but keeping our fingers crossed that a great AP rate or code pops up. Can't wait!
:p
