My MIL has a timeshare that can be traded for an ocean villa there. DH and I are thinking of going next year for our 20th anniversary (I was a child bride;) )

Now if only MIL can figure out how all this works. They own FIVE timeshares and have NEVER used any of them because they don't know how they work. They just have a hard time saying "no" when they go to those timeshare presentations.

Can I be a DIL too? With that many timeshares, perhaps they wouldn't notice :D
Good luck on going to Hawaii. That is my dream destination.
I have heard the Westin in Maui is wonderful (had a friend who stayed there).

I was there this April and it's an amazing resort! I was on a "travel agent" trip for work and I saw quite a few resorts in Maui. We had the luck to actually stay at the Westin, and it was my favorite! Hands down! It has a great location, great pools, and just gorgeous in general.
PM with any questions at all.....

Can't help you with the Westin, but just wanted to offer assistance if you need some tips on places to see, etc., when the time comes! I haven't been to Maui very many times, but it's my favorite neighbor island!

We stayed at the Sheraton Ka'anapali last year (the picture in my sig was the view from our room) and plan on staying at the Westin Ka'anapali next spring. We walked around the Westin and it's awesome. The pools look fabulous, which is a selling point for me. I would definitely stay there if given the chance.

There are two Westin Resorts in Ka'anapali. One is the hotel which is quite lovely and the other is about 2 miles north of the Whaler Village and one mile north of Black Rock. It is a timeshare and I have heard nice things about it. I had a studio reserved but found out that the studios do not have a lanai so we are staying at the Marriott. The floor plan and the pictures of the one bedrooms look quite nice. If you can stay there, I would grab it. Anything on Ka'anapali will be nice.

We stayed at the Westin Maui for our honeymoon -- it is a wonderful resort in a fantastic location! :)
