Is anyone familiar with an "aqua hot" system?

We are new to this....so forgive me if I should know this.

We have an aqua hot system, that we thought was for hot water? There are 4 of us in the bus, and only the first one is getting a hot shower. Others are about like temp of Fort W pools.

If we turn on the Webasto (runs on diesel), we can all take long, hot showers.

Is this normal for the Aqua Hot? Or do we have an issue to be concerned with?

Not familiar specifically with the Agua Hot system. From what I can determine is that it's a multi-source water heater. Multi in how it heats as well as what it's used for. The water can be heated by using the engine heat, by using the vehicle fuel, using the LP or CNG as well as using the electricity. I suspect a lot of this depends on the model you have installed and the features available.

Apparently the hot water can be used (again based on the features of your model) pre-heat the engine, for heating the environment inside the MH and of course for domestic hot water use (Sink/showers).

It sounds almost like you have it only set to heat with the engine. It heats it up and stores it, but then once used (presumably with engine off) there is no more hot water.

Again, this is only a guess on my part

@hsmytwins,we have an aqua hot. In this weather Bert and I have no problems each getting a shower with it on electric. In Jan when the temps are cooler we usually have to turn it to diesel for showers. Since your coach is older you might need a new electric heating element. Is the water sufficiently hot when on diesel? If not you may need to raise the water temp in the unit. I will give you my simplified explanation of it. The aqua hot heats a smaller amount of water really hot and then mixes it with the regular water to give you hot water. The temp that the aqua hot heats the water canbe raised. If you don't have enough hot water with diesel this may be your issue. Also you can check to make sure there is enough antifreeze in the boiler.
