Is anyone else thinking of Oct. '05?

Is there a way to figure out what the dates would be for MNSSHP in '05? I think I'd have to plan the trip around that.

ALSO, last year, we rented DVC points and found that a great way to have a less-expensive-deluxe WDW vacation. If we did that again and, just say, a hurricane occured before we got there, we would just be out that money, right? I don't think you can cancel and reschedule like you can at the resorts.

Yep I am planning on an Oct 05 trip. The 2nd - 8th right now, I will start making proper arrangements when I return from this trip.

This will be our first fall trip and MNSSHP. We have always gone either the first week in Feb or the first week in Dec.

I booked for Oct 7-14, 2005 last week - and we can't wait. We have never had really bad weather on any of our Oct trips.

Well we werent but we are now. We were supposed to go end of May 2005--into June but now dh cant get that week off. So we are looking into going in one of our favorite times--Oct. This years hurricanes were a freak situation. We have been several times in Sept and in Oct and never even saw 1 hurricane much less 3 or 4, lol.
I would, and am, plan with confidence there wont be a problem and go and enjoys MNSSHP and HHN!!

I may be planning a trip next Oct. We too have a busy summer with scout camp and the Jamboree also. After that we may be going down to Disney to celebrate a couple of new Eagle Scouts and a soon to be Eagle Scout. We haven't set this up yet so my bottom timer is wrong. We may be going in late Oct to celebrate hitting the big 50 (my husband's is on Holoween). I wanted to go in the beginning of the month but we may not be able to get the time off because of school holidays.

I did Oct 20-29 this year and thought it was awesome. Next year, I'm going to go a bit earlier due to my annual pass expiring.
While some people thought the crowds were big, I really didn't think they were that bad. At Epcot, MGM, and AK, I only used Fastpass for Test Track and nothing else. Waits were very short. At MK, fastpass was generally "needed" for the mountains, Buzz Lightyear, Pooh & Pan. but even those waits were usually under 30 minutes.
I had some thunderstorms when I came in on the 20th and it was dry and warm the rest of the trip.
