I am bored, bored, bored with them right now!!! :surfweb:

Hi! I actually like the quests, when they are really quests. I don't like the trivia or minigames, though. Just the scavenger type quests. :)

I usually like the trivia quests and I like the minigames in them as long as the scores arent too high. It forces me to play the games and get credits. But I do think that they are repeative and sometimes the prize does not seem worth all of the effort.

For me every staff quest is always ruinned from playing fire works. I just hate fireworks.

Me! Me! Me! I truly hate the quests even with having the answers. The only thing that makes them "semi-fun" is having a quest buddy to do them with

They are getting a bit old now.

It seems that almost everything is gotten through quests now. Even rooms.

And when you want several of an item, you have to use mules to get them.
I thought they wanted us to stop using mules. :confused3

I am getting tired of playing the mini games on these quests with really high scores. I can get the scores, but I feel bad for those who can't (like with fireworks). It's also frustrating to get disconnected in the middle of the games. I love the trivia quests though. Those go quick and I like seeing how much I know.

I like quests, but I wish that I would not have to do JC.

They are beginning to wear on me too, especially with many of them back to back. I'm still trying to complete the BB one and probably won't even get to do the birthday pin one since I can't pass fireworks.

I agree that the minimum scores required should be a little bit lower. I'm not suggesting they change it to a point where there is no challenge but the fireworks one is just ridiculous. I consider myself to be a decent player who can normally rank in the top five but during the quest I can't get anywhere. I've been playing fireworks all day today and I still can't pass 150, except for the one time when I was immediately dc at the end of the round where I made 155 :furious: That's when the quest just isn't fun anymore. Plus, I'm an adult. Some of these must be really hard for children to complete.

I hate whining about this stuff myself but today has just been a bad day. It doesn't help that the typhoon lagoon room was easy but I really wanted the BB room and now I can't pass the quest to save my life.

I like the quests for the most part, but I was wondering, do they always have this many? It is getting pretty time consuming with the amount they have had in the last couple of weeks. I like being able to get an interesting item or a room, but I also kind of want a break to do some other things.

I am getting a little tired of doing the quests also. I have a suggestion for VMK when it comes to including the mini games in their quests( especially quests that include all four mini games). Why can't they make the requirement to complete the task only to play and FINISH one game each and the final score is irrelevant. This would make it fair for all to obtain quest prize and get people playing the games through to the end. I know I helped several people get through the quest for the blizzard beach room only to get close to the end of the quest and find out this person can not possibly finish bc of the fireworks requirement. It is frustrating for me as a person helping so I know it is way more disappointing to the person that cannot finish bc of a mini game.

just my two credits worth

Alot of player owned quests I end up giving up on due to failing tasks and having to play games again.

Staff and in game quests are either too hard (like mic quest, i never seen HSM), or way too easy.. so lately it comes down to spoiling the intent to save a few hours, and making multiple accounts to have plenty of a paticular quest item. I'll sit on these pirate hats for a few more months. pirate:

As far as quest hosting, there apparently isn't any worth beyond a BQP for hosting, and that's all in hoping staff pays you a visit. Why we (myself included big time) spend so many credits on hosting these things has gone beyond me, but it too, has grown old.

Im fed up with the games the easy games like junglwe cruise gets to go down but the hardeer games to me such is fireworks go up and up soon it will be 200,000 you will need.

Mentally and physically. :guilty: Maybe it's time for me to take a vmk break. I was responsible for getting pins for five people, my kids, BIL, and myself, and couldn't get one. The only time I got close enough in fireworks I DC in stage 3 (holding steady in 9th place with lots under me). The actual fireworks score isn't so bad if you aren't eliminated along the way. But when the good players are playing repeatedly then the average or bad players don't have a chance. Unless they make a quest only/Beginner's lobby where no credits or rewards are given for winning to keep the best players out.

I was so obsessed trying to play fireworks again and again (when I could) that it never occurred to me I should look for new inventory at the Emporium. So not only did I miss out on the pin, but the chair as well.

I'm going to get some asprin for the migraine, close my eyes a few minutes, then see if it's still there and hope someone who has extra pins missed out on July 4th hats. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Can't take that vmk break until after slide competition anyway. ;) <sigh>

I am willing to bet that the person that makes up the VMK Quests does not actually PLAY VMK and has no idea how difficult it is to get into Fireworks. They are thinking that we need to put in a little effort but don't realize that the games get so crowded we can't play at all.

This is also the same person that schedules a host room for a game where only 15 people can play at a time.

I am going to guess it is ALSO the same person that decided it would be a 5,000 in one chance to get the Sparrow costume.

Grrrrrrr!

quests would be better if they did something different with them, you know? its pratically the same thing evertime. answer questions, go somewhere, play a game that you can't win at, answer more questions, find some hidden stuff (which really isnt hidden people just stand on it), play some more impossible games, and then you get, **ta-da** a pin.....wow. i mean they need to make quests more interesting, and get off of the mini game kick. mini games are fun, but only when you can get in to play them and then get a score that you can actually get. i'm glad they toned down jungle cruise. but over 100,000 points on fireworks on quest days is nigh impossible unless you are REALLY good at it. what was cool was during quest month when you could get the retired items (like the light blue rocket couch). thats worth a quest. but me personally a birthday pin isnt worth a quest. so needless to say i did not take part in the madness.

**small note** if anybody knows anybody who is trading a sparrow costume, please let me know. i'm sick of entering in codes!!!!

Oh no - we love Quests  Yeah right!

LOL, I agree that they either don't play or they are smoking something in the meeting and it ain't a peace pipe. :rolleyes1:

(People standing on the item is what makes it hidden- lol)

Umm, well .. I actually like the quests.
I like that they make us play the games - although having to play every single mini game in one quest is a bit much. And the scores should be reasonable for the AVERAGE player, not just the hot shots in a particular game.

I like the creativity of the questions, I like going to the different rooms that otherwise I might not visit. I like having to play the games, even if it does take me three trys to get past the pirate requirement. In general it gets me out and about in VMK and that's a good thing. The only task that is difficult is adding a new friend - we just need a bigger friends list!

But I haven't been able to get in a Host game room for a couple of months now. I'm not sure what has changed, but I can't even get in the line. So I'll take the quests, where all I have to do is push the little Q button and be on my way!

I am sick of quests!! We need at least 3 months of no quests. They are running quests for everything these days and I am tired of it. I feel like I am running around vmk, fighting with people so they'll move just to beat the time before it runs out and then I have to go catch 50 ghosts again or get 20K at JC again. Quests are boring and especially frustrating since can only be completed once. I wish they would finally release the other space and car pins and offer more chances so we can combine them.
