I think I might have a real problem. My kids are scared to leave anything out - Mommy might sell it while they are at school.
I just sold a used hot wheels over-the-door case (discontinued - like this one... http://www.amazon.com/Wheels-Over-Door-Display-Case/dp/B000MAJIG0 ) for over $50.
I paid $8 for it, like 4 years ago.
My son wanted a DS for Christmas. He told me that it was "ok if Santa bought it used". My heart broke over that one, so I was bound and determined to buy him one. I ended up buying him a DSi during the Amazon preorder - got the DSi, the Mario Party game, and a $25 video game credit for $150 - no shipping, no tax. I sold the Mario Party, plus two "lightening deal" games I got with the credit for $65 - so my out of pocket cost for the DSi was $85.
(DS had a DS previously that broke, so he has games.)
