Is anyone cruising with me on the August 27th 2011 Meditteranean Cruise? Hellooooo?

On the nights other than formal, semi and Pirates, what is different with the menus? The shows listed on those nights, is that just what is playing or is the menu tied to these shows? I looked up the Let the Magic Begin from the Transatlantic cruise. I soooo hope we get that menu, it looks awesome!:thumbsup2

I think the menus/dining themes are likely to be:-

Day 1 - Let the Magic Begin, Let the Magic Begin menu
Day 2 - Twice Charmed, Prince and Princess menu
Day 3 - Villains Tonight, Villains menu
Day 4 - Once Upon a Song, AP Show Dinner, PC Island Dinner, L French Dinner
Day 5 - Pirates in the Caribbean, Pirates menu
Day 6 - Disney Dreams, Captain's Gala
Day 7 - Remember the Magic, Till We Meet Again

This is just speculation on my part though.

Based on the assumption that we know formal night is 2 and pirate night is 5 etc, this is what I believe the menus will be

1. Rotation - usual menu for which restaurant you are given to start in.
2. Prince and Princess menu - formal night.
3. Rotation
4. Rotation
5. Pirates of the Caribbean
6. Captains Gala - semi formal
7. Till we meet again

This is the standard set up for the seven night caribbean cruises, I don't think there will be any of the other meals from the 10 night med or transatlantic because that would mean on missing out on a standard rotation meal and it is usually a set thing that everyone gets to experience each restaurants normal menu.

can someone explain the beer token option?

Do you get one token which you must carry around the ship and show at the bar each time?
Do you get to keep at end of cruise the disney beer mug if you opt for a token?
Is there any max on amount of beer that you can buy using both options?

Does each person require beer mug or can a couple share?

I am the beer drinker, but my husband may want one beer rarely, and wondered if I can buy the beer using my mug/token and give the beer/half beer
:confused3 to him????????

Basically you buy the souvenir beer glass. When you use this glass, you get beer at a discounted rate. When you have finished, rather than carry around the glass you can return the glass to the bar and they will give you a token which you can slip into your purse/wallet/pocket. The next time you go to the bar, hand the token across and they will serve your beer in one of the souvenir glasses. You are then back at stage 1. Yes you can give the glass of beer to someone else. Yes you can share. At the end of the cruise you can ask to exchange your empty glass for a new glass rather than a token, so that you can pack it to take home (as its the end of the cruise the bar staff will expect to give you a clean/new glass rather than a token).

I hope this is clear. pirate:

Is there anyone else who wants to try for a private Palo Brunch? It will be on the sea day. We need about 12-14 people, so far there are 8 people (4 couples) on the list.... anyone else want to partake?

Not us sorry. We are not huge seafood eaters and I am starving when I wake up so won't want to miss breakfast. I also want to be free to attend any of the sea day events.

Cheers

Unless I'm missing something there are no " special events" held on sea day. All the shows are in the evening. Bingo is in the afternoon. Movies are all day. The only thing I plan on doing on sea day is sleep in!!:)

Myself & my husband would be up for it if you get a slot. Thanks for trying.

There is always a whole roster of activities for every day. Port days tend to have only a few tings besides movies going on. but sea days tend to have all kinds of things (game who type things, building cars out of vegetables and racing them, origami classes, napkin folding, galley tours, pool parties, etc). Some people are not interested in all of that stuff and just want to sleep in and burnch. Some of us LOVE that stuff (it is WHY I cruise :lmao:) and hate to miss the day packed with it to eat (especially because I also am not much of a seafood fan).

I bet you will get a group together (I would be surprised if the room is still available though--have you asked?):goodvibes

I would love to do a galley tour, is that on sea day? Are there more rounds or just one?

There are usually a few offered. They may not be listed in the Navigator. The best thing to do is to stop by guest services on the first day and ask if any are going to happen and if so if you can get a (free) ticket for one.

My wife and I would like to join the Palo's Brunch if you have any more openings.

DH and I are up for brunch! Can we do that even though we have a Palo's dinner booked?

Don't forget to count us in for 2 as well for Palo Brunch! I hope we can get enough people, fingers crossed!:wizard:

Do we have a final list, with names and cabins, of those participating in the Fish Extender? I'm trying to organize everything to give me enough time if I've missed anyone.
Thanks!!!
