someone from the UK on the 13th august med cruise got her tickets from fedex today .......... ours should be soon

what tickets?????? for what exactly?
I am not expecting any tickets from anyone??????Do Disney send tickets? As I thought you just take confirmation and prints of forms to port??? (as on my on-line check -inn) If you do not receive anything in the mail it is okay and what you printed is all you really need. You usually do receive a little document booklet in the mail though--which is just fun and makes the vacation feel that much closer
Vatican is also printed voucher??????Yes, all you need for the vatican is your printed voucher from when you ordered teh tickets and your passports
As this hol is our 10th wedding aniversary and belated 6th birthday gift, this cruise needs to be special?
I have posted the med form today to Florida/reg kids club Tiff/signed waver phones form/signed aboard costs form/printed port form etc!
Am I missing anything????????
If your port arrival is 12.30,what time can you expect to board ship?It varies depending on when they cleared it that morning, but I would think you will be on shortly after you finish checking in at that hour. They will also have some entertainment while you wait (last year it was mickey dressed as a Matador and a pair of Flamenco dancers)
My only other problems are fitting into my dresses (weight gain) and wearing heels (something that used to be a daily thing that for years have been replaced by trainers/flats/no make-up etc)
Anyway, still gloomy on weather front, worst I have ever experienced in 19 years!Days hot,but evenings overcast and heavy rain nearly every night June!Hoping will change soon! For those of you UK/Germany etc will seem hot,but for us whom live here cold!
Are wine packages & photo credits & beer mug also available aboard ship????or only by pre-order!Yes you can buy them onboard, no worries. Don;t forget the prices you are ssing do not have the VAT tax added--DCL is so rarely in Europe they have not caught on to the European system of pricing things with the VAT added and are adding it at point of sale as in the US
I have a dilema,we have good OBC to use,but do not want to miss unique discount savings?
After reading many reports,it is mentioned that rainforest passes are limited and our voyage seems to be full of passengers,so decided to book passes pre-cruise,so not to miss out as have booked hubby massage on formal evening which really needs the extra of rainforest for his relaxation and time, whilst us girls doll up ready for formal night?
Are these days deff????? formal 2nd/5th pirate/6th semi?????????? As planned my whole vacation around this assumption??They are as definite as anything can be, but things can change once in a while. It is pretty rare to change those nights around though.
Ps when is the chocolate fountain??????????

Hi everyone. I have just raised my head from all the 30 June financial year end work and am ready to finalize my holiday planning. I am working out how much money to change to Euros. Can anyone help with the cost of meals. We will have a few meals on our shore days and another 10 days in Europe pre and post cruise. We are not huge eaters or drinkers but like to eat real food as opposed to mcdonalds and the like (although my boys might disagree...) Is the following a reasonable estimate :
15 euro per head for breakfast, 20 for lunch and 30 for dinner? I am thinking that some cheap meals where we don't spend that allowance will cover any slightly dearer meals.
I think that is plenty, probably quite a bit more than you need. Don't discount "fast" food on port days so you do not waste valuable time to see the area while sitting at a table. We had fabulous take out pizza slices in Rome for 2 Euro a person and another 2 for drinks and there are some wonderful sandwich shops in France with great fresh bread and good meats and cheese where you can pick up a to go lunch for 5-8 Euros with fruit and drinks included.
I heard the grocery stores in Las Ramblas sell sandwiches that are good size portions for like 2-3 euro. Is this true?
So what has everyone decided to do in Palma?
I have every port for both cruises planned except that one. I am overwhelmed with options and still a bit confused about where we will be docking and how far that is from town. I'd love to hear what you all have found to do to get my brain in focus![]()
