Is anyone at DL now?

My family and I were supposed to arrive yesterday. At 7:45 am this morning I was thinking how I should have been staring at the castle waiting for rope drop instead of my bedroom wall,lol. This trip was canceled since I'll be there for a few days at the end of October for OBB. My girls 19 and 15 are burnt out on DL, so in October I'm only going with my DS 6 and dad. If you're there, how are the crowds? Anything interesting going on?

It’s pretty hot. We’re back at our hotel for a rest and pool break. It’s decent but not overwhelming today crowd wise. We went to California Adventure at rope drop and rode Guardians in about 45 minutes. We got a LL for 9:25 and rode it again.

I saw that Kathryn Hahn of Agatha All Along fame was at Disneyland. She’s part of a new Oswald live action show (very excited to that).

Was a little bummed that Oswald did not make an appearance even though he was listed on the app. DD15 has Oswald ears and an old shirt of mine and was hoping to meet him in them today.

We saw Oswald yesterday afternoon. When it is hot, the characters sometimes find indoor locations (ex. Animation Academy, Philharmagic) or come out later once it cools down.

Good to know. We’ll check back when we go at 5 this evening. We asked a cast member at the Oswald shop and she said he was not meeting anyone today. We may check again tomorrow when we head over to Trader Sam’s for our lunch.

Why’d ya cancel?

To be honest, that was actually almost me on New Years Eve 2025… a blown tire almost cost me my return to Disneyland on the night before. Talk about real Disney Magic taking effect when the rental car got swapped.

DL doesn't appeal to my girls anymore, and I got tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash for Halloween day. I'll be going then,but just with my son and dad.
