Is Anyone A Cruise Agent?

I am going to be starting class to become a home based cruise agent the end of June.I am curious to see if anyone else has done anything like this.I will be an affiliate of a large company when I finish and think I can do very well with this.But I guess I am just looking for a little insight.

How does one become a home based agent? I have my degree in Travel Tourism and could actually see myself doing this some day. Do you need to find a company to hire you first? What kind of classes do you need to take?
