Funny you should ask....
Up until a few months ago I was working in the marketing field as a graphic designer. I did page layouts, websites, sell sheets logos, blah blah blah. Went to college for it and everything. I also worked as a waitress and a delivery driver on weekends to help make ends meet. (Well, okay, to feed the Disney beast actually

) I found myself working 70+ hours a week, mostly from home, but I did have an office. I also take care of my elderly mother and have 4 kids.
I don't know, guess one day I just snapped when I heard myself say for the one hundredth time, "Sorry, no, I can't do ____, I have a deadline...." I was missing out on my life & my kids life. I really had to stop and look at what was important to ME. Being around for my family before they ALL grow up and leave what I wanted more than anything. So I decieded to keep the job that had the least amount of stress, aloud me time off when ever I felt like it and earned enough to survive.
I make less than min. wage per hour but the tips are great. I earn as much now working 4 - 10 hours days than I made working 70+ every day of the week. Plus, I can stop at my house if the kids need me or if my mom needs me.
Life is too short to stress all the time.
