I went online and checked the price of the AP. I did not see where it shows advance and gate prices. Is it the same either way? If so, I'll save shipping cost and buy it there.

I know this was not a resort question. I meant to post it on the Theme Park Attractions page. However, I did want to get it in advance so I could have it at checkin when we arrive Dec 11th as I booked the Dolphin at the AP rate.

Also, if you have a Disney Store nearby, you can purchase them there. You would get a voucher, that would have to be activated at the parks or downtown guest services. No advance savings, but you'd have the voucher at check-in, which should be fine. If anything they may ask you to come back after checking in to show them it was activated. Have a great trip!

If you have to redeem your voucher at the gate for the actual AP, why not wait and buy it at the gate or when you reach the resort.

You need the ap/voucher to check in, although this is debated as some have never been asked to show anything, but better to have it, imho, just to be safe. Yes, you can buy them at the gate, but not at the resort, or at least that is what I've been told...so someone correct me if I'm wrong!

I guess if you had a car it would be ok to stop at a park to do this before checking in, but a hassle w/ no car.

:bounce: If you have a Disney Club card it is still valid thru Dec. 30th and you can get $10 or $15 dollars off the regular price.::yes::
