Is Animal Kingdom busy on Memorial Day?

I know it's supposed to be one of the least crowded parks on this holiday, but is it busier than on normal days?

We plan on closing the park out and have an ADR at Yak & Yeti at 7:45 p.m., that's just 15 minutes before park closing. Do they try to rush you out of the park when you have that late of a meal? Will we be the only family left in the park when we are done?

Not been on Memorial Day but if Presidents day is anything to go by I would say that you certainly can expect larger than normal crowds. We expected it to be busy on Presidents Day but I don't think my family was entirely prepared for how busy it was.

I would think that it would be a little more crowded than normal; however, generally AK is the least crowded of the parks on holidays. It is probably the better choice for MD. You will not be rushed from the park. You will likely be one of the last families leaving the park, but there may be others who have the same time reservation as you and leaving too.
