The answers to this thread are why I have never understood why most "diets" recommend "egg white omelets". I've always wondered...Why can't I eat the whole egg?? Like someone else said, they are low in calories and are good for you! An egg mcmuffin is actually one of the better fast food items out there.
Let me tell you...If I eat an egg mcmuffin with a piece of fruit, I am good until late into lunch time. If I eat a bowl of whole grain cereal, I am looking for a snack by 9;30 10:00 and end up eating more throughout the day.
I've started eating more eggs and I swear I eat less on those days.
