hi my husband likes to drink a beer w/ his meals and was wondering if they sell beer at these character buffets?

Everywhere except the Magic Kingdom (where no alcohol is sold).

Though probably not at the character breakfasts.

Yes, as long as the restaurant is not inside the Magic Kingdom.

Every table service restaurant outside the MK serves alcohol. Have fun!

1) Correctomundo.
2) If the adult isn't into characters, they need something to pass time.
3) And, after a few for breakfast, time doesn't really matter any longer. :)

I've had bloody marys, mimosas and sangria at breakfasts at WDW before...not at buffets, though. Not sure if they're available there because it has been forever since I've been to a breakfast buffet. don't know about getting a beer with breakfast.

Are you serious? they serve beer/alcohol at breakfast buffets?

1) Yes.
2) As long as you are not in the Magic Kingdom.
3) Just like TDC Nala, we have had Bloody Mary's.
4) Our friend LOVES Mimosa's for breakfast and gets one, or two.

NOTE: Although I adore a good Single Malt Scotch, I haven't got enough nerve to have one for breakfast - at hoem or away.

You and I would get along very well! If you see me at Grand Floridian Cafe or Captain's Grille, have a Glenmorangie on me.

I've had a mimosa at 1900 Park Fare before, so the are definatly available at the character breakfast buffets.

I'll join you both. I am currently enjoying a large glass of The Macallan.

Yes, and the original question was character BUFFETS, not breakfast you goofballs! :lmao:

So, I'm guessing 1900 Park Faire and Chef Mickey's would have a nice Bud or Bud Lite or Yeungling available for you. I think every other character buffet is breakfast only (Tusker House, or at MK (Crystal Palace). I guess Akershus counts, too and I'm sure you can get something alcoholic there, too. After all, it's Norway/Vikings!!!!

1) Absolutely kindered spirits (pun intended).
2) When there I will have one one you.
3) By the Way, what is your American Express number?

thanks for the info and the laugh! I was thinking more along the lines of lunch or dinner buffets though. I dont think anyone could enjoy their waffles w/ beer but then again to each his own!

You all have to stop taunting a pregnant lady with thoughts of mimosas with breakfast and a Yuengling with dinner. :lmao:

But yes, you can get adult beverages at character meals-- I've had a glass of wine with the Princesses at Akershus. :thumbsup2

This thread's turned into a scene from Mr. Mom.

"You want a beer?"
"It's 8:30 in the morning!"
"Scotch?"

Alcohol, making character meals tolerable since 1999 (for me anyway).
