Is Akershus dinner a full buffet or plated meal?

I thought that Akershus dinner was a salad bar & a plated meal, but I came across this:

What is the current status for Akershus dinner?

Thank you-that's what I thought. Did it used to be a full buffet? That flyer confused me.

The last time that I went in 2013 we were able to order multiple entrees for the fixed price. I don't know if that is still the case but it was something we had to ask for. The server did not offer it to us but when we asked she allowed it.

That flyer has to be at least 12 years old. Akerhus used to be a full hot and cold smorgasbord with fairly authentic Scandinavian food (the food seemed more Swedish influenced than Norwegian). When they added princesses around 2004-5, it changed to the koltbord and hot plated entrees with the food being even more Americanized. Personally I found the change unfortunate. It was rarely full back then but it was unique and interesting, something becoming increasingly rare at Disney.

I have an old dinner receipt somewhere for Akershus when it was $18.99 per person, and where it was an all you can eat hot entrees and salad bar. Those were the days!
