As in, if we go to a water park one day, but want to go into one of the parks for dinner will that be park hopping or will that be used as a days admission.
Am I making sense?

No the water parks are not considered a theme park, they are seperate ticketed admission than the parks. It would take a ticket to the water park as well as a ticket to the theme park from you.

No.

Magic Kingdom in the morning, Blizzard Beach in the afternoon -- consumes one Water Park Fun option (or one separate water park ticket) and one park day, does not require hopping on your ticket.

Blizzard Beach in the morning, Disney Quest in the afternoon -- consumes two Water Park Fun options and zero park days, does not require hopping.

If you have the Premium Annual Pass, it doesn't matter because everything is covered. Witht he MYW tickets, you can't do that as others have said.
