Can someone please explain to me - what's the difference between a PS and just calling the restaurant directly to make a dinner reservation? We will not be on the dining plan and would like to eat at Wolfgang Puck's for dinner one night (upstairs).

TIA!

PS-Priority seating was what it was called last year and then it was changed to ADR-advanced dining reservation. Call it what you want but if you want to eat at WDW restaurant you need to get your name in. BTW it does not matter if your on the dining plan or not. Hope this helps. :)

It's not the same as at your local restaurant. They don't hold your table it for the first available table. So it may not be the exact time your set it up for.

Also instead of calling the restaurant, you call Disney Dining, a central location that makes ADR's for all the Disney restaurants.

For Pucks Upstairs you would call 407-WDW-Dine.
You don't really have a "reservation" as such--it ismore like a "first available table" for your party size. Something like "call ahead seating". Puts you ahead of any "walk-ins".

Should add that most times (and we've been going since 1975!! ) you are seated at or very near the ADR time.
