Is a PPO dining reservation useful at MK?

Wondering if BOG PPO is still useful to get on 7DMT or other rides before the rope droppers or not useful since they are letting everyone in 8am now?

It can be.

"Everyone else" is held at the Hub until straight-up 9AM regular hours "opening time."

Do you mean for an 8AM opening or a 9AM opening? If the park opens at 8AM, then there is no advantage. If the park opens at 9AM and by letting everyone in at 8AM you mean letting people onto Main St. & the Hub, then yes, there is an advantage still. It's lesser than it used to be. When they held everyone at the gates, we could get 3-4 rides in on SDMT before the rope droppers got there. With everyone held at the hub, we can typically only get 1 maybe 2 rides in.

Our 8 AM breakfast at BOG was very helpful in June. We were some of the first onto the ride when it opened. It only opened a few minutes early, but just being ahead of the crowd was a huge help.

We had one last week and were able to have one ride on 7DMT before RD’s

We also were able another day to be one of the first on PP which was a huge line by the time we came off the ride

We have an ADR at CRT at 8:25am on a 9 am park opening day. I know that meal is gonna be time consuming but will it help at all getting out and getting on rides or will it be too late to beneficial?

No. I can’t imagine you’d finish breakfast before 9am.

1. Nope.
2. If the point of the breakfast is to eat breakfast, meet characters
-and- ride attractions "early," that won't do it.

It will be our 3rd MK day. It was more for just a birthday breakfast with princesses. I was just curious if that would be an extra "bonus" to being there. But by the time we get out of the castle, meal paid for etc, I kind of assumed we'd be with the full morning crowd by then. Thanks for the replies though. FP day is in a couple of weeks so I'm still strategizing.

As far as making the payment for a meal taking extra time (which it certainly can do,)
the prescribed workaround is to ask for the check/bill as soon as everyone is seated and has ordered (many times, it's a one-price buffet, anyway.)

Pay during the meal.
That way there's no waiting after the meal.

That’s a great tip. Thank you!! We will definitely be doing that
