Is a Disney wedding cheesy/tacky?

Longtime lurker posting, I think the poll should have had another option besides yes & no.

I follow many of the planning journals and there have been some beautiful weddings, lovely and classy... and then there has been some real hot messes.

This is a really good point. You all know that I'm a major fan of Disney weddings, but I have seen some that just made me cringe. Everybody has different things that they don't like in a wedding. For me, it's super-revealing dresses on brides and bridesmaids or the use and abuse of lipliner. For others, it's Disney in general.

If you try hard enough, you can be tacky anywhere.

I am currently trying to convince my sister that a dress below the knee is not frumpy!! It really is going to be an uphill battle

I personally think a wedding is about two people who want to celebrate their love for each other. Its not about decorations or location or food. If it reflects who they are or is what they wanted that day to be then that is all that mattered. If its your wedding and you liked it who cares about judgmental people.
