Is a 9CGTY worth it?

it is a really good price, and I am happy with 9c which is what we always book. However we don’t want one with an adjoin8ng door. Can u request that?

When you book GTY you don't really get any say in things - you are agreeing to let them put you in any available cabin at the level of the GTY or higher. I seriously doubt you could put a "no connecting door" request on there. Or rather, if you book on the phone they may tell you you can, but it would only be a request. And I doubt it would be looked at when assigning the cabins.
