NYC to Orlando? I am using the July rates to estimate for August to get an idea of what I will pay on SWA. I got $69 each way last October on Delta. Is $99 good for late summer? :confused3

Fares have gone up incredibly over the past year. I'm happy anytime I can get in the $200 range EWR/PHL to MCO/TPA these days.

I have flights from NYC to MCO and back n July on JetBlue for $79 each way, booked many months ago. I have flights on Song (now changed to Delta) in late August for $69 each way -- booked that last fall. However, in general if I can get something at or less than $200 RT I consider that a good deal.

Yes, I think that's good. Like others have posted, fares have definitely gone up. Whereas last year, $200 RT Hartford-Orlando was commonplace, this year, we were thrilled when we caught a break and Southwest internet fares went down to that for our May trip (and then shortly thereafter went back up to $130-$150+tax/fees one-way). Combination of demand and fuel costs up, I suppose.
