Is 8 Park Days Too Many?

I think at least 7 days is good especially if you're wanting a more relaxed approach. This way you don't feel the need to rush to get everything done and can enjoy it. Also you won't feel the need to stay the entire day and can take a break mid day if you want. You won't wear yourself out this way. We did that in the past (going all day with no breaks) and we were exhausted. Plus you can take a day or two for water parks and a day for relaxing at the resort/looking around DTD.

We are going for 9 days including travel days and I wish we could add another night! Does everyone who replied include travel days as well? Technically we only have 7 full days

Ours is 11 days....with day 1 and 11 being travel days, but we take the 1st flight in (usually landing in MCO by 9:30 am) and last flight out so leaving around 6:45 pm. We have annual passes so we are in the parks at some point during each of our 11 days. :goodvibes

We did 8 and a half on our last trip and it was awesome. DD loved the Phineas and Ferb adventure in Epcot and we were able to dedicate a whole day to that for her because we weren't rushed. You can take your time with the more days you have. It was nice not to feel rushed. I say go for it.

Coming from the uk we always do at least two wk trips normally 3!
In 2010 we stayed at disney Akl for the whole trip not doing any other parks and loved it!
Now if we only do 2wk trip we only do disney due to enjoying that 3wk disney trip so much,
This yr however were doing a 3wk again and doing universal for 7nights then over to disney for the last 2, I could stay even longer :)

We did 8 days on our honeymoon and loved it. You can enjoy the parks at a more leisurely pace with 8 days, especially since you'll probably want to day mid day breaks to get out of the heat!

I think 8 is a great number. As others have said, it allows you a more leisurely pace and some time to actually enjoy your resort. We normally do 7 park days. Last year we did 2 weeks in Florida, but still only half of that was WDW. I would have a hard time doing less than 7 days and I would ideally love to do 9 or 10, I think that would be perfect.
