Is 8:50 too late?

I finally snagged an 8:50am reservation at Crystal Palace to surprise DSis for our first full park day. While we like the 100 Acre crew, my goal in an early reservation is to let her see the park before all the crowds are let in. Do they still hold everyone for the rope drop show at 9am? How early would we be allowed in to maybe get a picture in front of the Castle before eating?

Finding this ressie at 38 days out is considered magical enough to me, even if we only get 5 minutes before the crowds. But I'd like to make sure we don't show up to find everyone already inside.

So funny cause I just changed our 8:50 to a 9:15 because I want to make sure we can see the whole good morning show thingy before our CP breakfast. With the 8:50, we'd probably go thorugh the turnstiles around 8:30-8:40 which is before the show so we'd miss it..

I heard the show is at 8:50....I'm assuming that's right? :confused3

That is funny! :rotfl: If the one you cancelled was for Monday, Sept 23rd then we'll have to start singing the ol' familiar Fantasyland ride. Plus I'll owe you thanks! We figure we can try to catch the opening show almost any day but getting an early entrance breakfast seems very difficult to get. Everyone has their priorities and I'm glad you'll get to see the show.

nope, it's for our traditional last morning (Dec. 14th)!

Yes they hold everyone back. The morning show starts between 8:45am - 8:50am depending on how busy they are expecting the park to be. Usually you are allowed through 20-30 minutes prior to your reservation as you are meant to check in 15 minutes before your actual dining time. This will give you plenty of time to take your photos :)

What a great way to end the trip! Still a fun coincidence time-wise.

Horray! I was hoping it worked this way. :woohoo: Thank you! By the way, I completely read your post in Amy Adam's voice due to your Giselle icon.

Aww thank you :) I love Enchanted and Giselle :) She's my favourite Disney Character

Enjoy your Crystal Palace reservation :) Make sure you get lots of photos with Piglet and Eeyore, as neither of the meet anywhere else in the parks :)
