I'm not sure how many days you guys spend at Disney on your trips, but I was wondering if you guys thought doing Disney for 6 days/5 nights especially if you plan on coming back later in the year to Disney was doable.

I think any time at Disney is better than none! Our trip is "only" 5 nights this year. I wish we had more, but that's what we can do so I'll make the best of it. That said, I think you can get a lot in in 6 days! Since you're planning to come back again that soon, maybe concentrate on just 2 or 3 parks, and do the other one(s) next trip. That would give you plenty of time to concentrate on seeing as much as possible in the ones you visit.

My first answer would be it's never enough time. But, it is. You can do a park a day with a break in the middle depending on if your doing anything on your arrival day. So it can be done and even have some time to relax a bit.

6 days 5 nights is a great amount of time. That is usually our length, we did a 10 day 9 nights and it felt long where we did each park twice. It won't feel as cramped as a shorter trip and you will have enough time to see and do things so you won't get bored with anything our do anything multiple times. I agree with PP and focus on 2-3 parks and get everything done and do the other parks the next trip.

No matter how long you go you will wish you had more time. Do yourself a favor and go with the knowledge that you will not see/do everything. It is less stressful and more fun that way. It will be there whenever you back for your next visit.

Thanks. I'm currently booked for 8 days/7 nights, but might need to reduce it by two days and not stay during the weekend. I was thinking about spending the bulk of my time this trip at Magic Kingdom and Epcot which is why I'm staying at a monorail resort.

Well the worry about having to drop the weekend dates is over and I'm able to keep my trip the entire 8 days/7 nights 3/2-3/9. I'm so glad for many reason's I don't have to change it, but mainly because I already have certain FP set up based on what days I wanted to go to what parks and at this late of date, many of the popular attractions the FP are already taken for next week.

We've flown down for three nights a few times and had a blast! Sure I'd prefer three weeks instead, but three days works too. :thumbsup2

Op, I see you're back to seven nights. Have a great trip!

Our last two trips were four nights and three nights. I tend to keep my trips to five nights max...that seems to be my kids limit. After five nights they want to be home.

In almost 20 trips to Disney, we have never stayed more than five nights (we fly from Detroit). After that, it gets a bit old.

It's alright! I recommend two magic kingdom days, a half day at animal kingdom and Hollywood studios, and two full days at Epcot.

We usually do 8 days/7 nights. Our first night is at another hotel and is usually a DTD night since we don't like going to the parks on our first night. We also 2 days at MK and EPCOT, 1 day at DHS, and 1/2 day at AK. Any free time is spent relaxing at the resort, golfing, spas, etc.....

We've usually done 6 days / 7 nights in the past. I don't consider travel days vacations days. These trips are usually long enough to do what we want but never long enough for me personally. I'd stay a month if I could. I planned 8 days / 10 nights this year but downsized it to 5 days / 6 nights to add a 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise later in the year for our 20th anniversary. 5 days will be enough to to what we want, one day in each park plus a water park and pool time at the resorts. We no longer buy hoppers because we've never used them when we have. Still, I'd love to do a longer trip someday. We usually go about every 18 months. If we were doing multiple trips a year I think 5 days would be plenty long enough.

We usually do 6 nights 7 days and I still feel like it's never enough time. In 2012, we did 5 nights and 6 days and it was great but I wished I had more nights and more time. This year I am doing 9 nights 10 days, my longest trip yet. Like others have said, 3 days in Disney is better than none. You'll be able to hit each park and do everything you love! Especially if you plan to leave later on the 6th day.. We did that and had a whole day at MK on our last day when we did 5 nights.

We usually stay around 10 days. We take it slow and have lots of downtime. I HATE to constantly be in a rush to "see it all". We stay deluxe and take full advantage of the resort amenities. However, we literally just today booked a very impromptu surprise trip for April 5th. It's a quick trip for us (6 days) and for the first time ever we are staying at a value (Pop Century). We'll see how this goes. I do agree that any number of days at Disney is better than none at home. I'm trying my best to run away from all of this cold and snow here in VA!!!

Well I decided to reduce it by one day and do a split stay 3/2-3/5 at GF Main BLDG - Deluxe King Room - Club Level and 3/5-3/8 at the Contemporary Tower - Theme Park View. I kept going back and forth about trying club level and finally found the dates that worked so I could split the stay evenly between the two resorts.

We have always gone for at least 4 days, in order to hit the four parks once.

Last year, we had 7 days. My wife was "Disney-ed Out" from going steady for the whole period. She was beat.

This year, we got annual passes, and plan on taking a 6 day trip in the spring, and a 5 day trip in the summer. While my son and I can Tower of Terrorize ourselves, thief and girl can enjoy their time by the pool.

Also, being that we have never had Park Hopper, we learned how we would manage our park days. Instead of trying to plan for a whole day at a certain park, we now will make each half day its own session.

For example:
Day 1 Morning - Animal Kingdom
Day 1 Evening - Magic Kingdom
Day 2 Morning - Epcot
Day 2 Evening - Hollywood Studios

Then, we can assess what we want to do again, and go after it!

Everyone is different. We tend to go for longer trips as we live on the west coast. Usually 10-14 days. Personally I enjoy longer trips so I don't get burnt out. We can spread things out, and relax rather then running around trying to cram it all in.

But IMO you need a minimum of 2 days for MK, 2 for Epcot and one each for AK & DHS.so 6 full days.

We stayed for 7 days. Did each park twice (Except AK, which was a single day expedition). We had a group of 8, with totally different perspective of what a Disney vacation meant for us. Here is my take, with personality trait listed first:
1> Kid at heart - 7 days is enough, cause you can see and do all you would like, without delving too much into "details"
2> Curious kind - 7 days is not enough. You could spend 3 days at Epcot and AK alone and not scratch the surface. So much detail and (so to speak) "history" and hidden things.
3> Planner - Will make sure highlights are covered.
4> Food buff - 7 days is not enough. Nuff said
5> Family with young kids - 7 days is enough with kids, though the Adults may not be able to do all they wanted.
6> Vacation is relaxing - These people will not have fun

Hope this helps.
