Is 6:15 pm too early for CG?

We have decided last minute that we have to go to the world in May. Of course since it is last minute I could only get a 6:15 PS for California Grill. The fireworks aren't until 9:00. I really hate to give up that park time and eat that early if we are going to have to stall at the table to see the fireworks.

Should I try it or wait for another time? It's not like we won't be back.

I don't think 6:15 is too early. We had a 6:30 reservation and the fireworks were at 8:00. The fireworks started right before we got our entree. If you tell them you will wait for a table with a view of the castle ...that may kill some time too. If you are done early...linger over drinks and head out to the observation deck.... but I think you will be fine.
