for a Saturday night wine and cheese party? Do you think it should be earlier or later or is 5:30 alright?

Your thoughts?

I would think either earlier or later would be fine. But 5:30 is really starting to encroach on dinner time - at least in my neck of the woods. Unless of course you are serving really heavy appetizers or serving dinner.

It depends on how late you want this to go for! Also how many people? Like the other poster said it is close to dinner hour, so maybe 6:30 would be better! What time should i be there? :p

too early!!! Make it 5:45 :teeth:

Seriously, I would think around 7 or 7:30 would be better.

I think it should be a little later- like 7 p.m.

Def. later - drinking wine w/ no dinner and only cheese could lead to some dipsy guests. Unless you are having more than cheese I'd say 7:00 is better.

Sounds fun.

I guess we are calling it a wine and cheese party, but it will be wine and lots of appetizers. We also have two warming trays so there will be some hot stuff too. I guess we were leaning towards early because of the kids that are coming with their parents. As to how many, we are about 10 adults and 7 kids.

I'd go later-like 7:30. What should I bring? :teeth: (got two cases of wine, I think I can spare a bottle or two, lol)
