Is 5:30 dinner too late for 8 PM Fantasmic?

If our ADRs are for 5:25/5:30 in MGM (5:25 at Sci Fi - and 5:30 at MaMa Melrose) should we be able to make it out in time for 8 PM Fantasmic? We are scheduled the last week of September.
I like early supper, but I started wondering if it was still too late for Fantasmic.

I assumed that Mama Melrose would automatically be Fantasmic package. I know.............I know...............silly, crazy me! This is our first time to eat at Mama Melrose. When I realized that I had to ask for the Fantasmic package I called WDW dining back. Of course, by that time the latest package slots were booked. I thought I would just stick with the 5:30 time. Since it is the last week of Sept. I am hoping the crowds will not be bad. Soooooooooooooo do you think we will be ok? Honestly, I made all our dinner ADRs for 5:30. MK Spectro is at 8 PM, too. However, we are eating at Liberty Tree Tavern so I think I will be close enough to get a view of the parade if we run late. AK isn't a problem since we will leave and do dinner at Downtown Disney that night.

That's pushing it....I like to be at the amphitheatre by at least 6:00 for the show. It's a LONG wait, but we usually get good seats. I get counter service and take it to the theatre and we "picnic" there.

It looks like Fantasmic is at 8:00 the end of September. I really think you will be fine. There should be no reason you need to be there before 7:00. That gives you 1 1/2 hours at Mama Melrose. As long as you get seated at 5:30 you should be ok. Just remember, just because you have ADR's at 5:30, doesn't mean you'll get seated at 5:30. That's where you might run into trouble. However, there really aren't any horrible seats to see Fantasmic. We have sat all over the place and have always enjoyed the show.

That is what I am wishfully thinking. We have seen Fantasmic so many times, and I know that DH wouldn't mind missing it if needed. However, it is my favorite show. I can't miss it!!!!!! Even if we have to sit far, in the last minute seats, I will just be happy to see it and hear the music!!!!!

We were only 10 minutes early in February and managed to get really good seats. They were on the side, but we could still see everything. Enjoy your meal!

Only we have a 6:30 ADR at Sci-Fi and Fantasmic is at 8 also. No kids with us that night so we would have no problem running to the theatre. I've heard there are no bad seats but would this time even work?

When you call to make your ADR they'll tell you the latest they can arrange your ADR if you plan on going to Fantasmic. I just made the ADR for Brown Derby to package with Fantasmic(which will be at 7:30 when we go), and they wouldnt let us make a ressie any later than 5pm. So they'll let you know. I'm sure 5:30 is plenty of time if your show isnt till 8.
