We are getting close for our trip to WDW!:banana:

We are planning on being in Epcot on the Sunday of our trip...we have 7:20am reservations for Chef Mickey's, 12:30pm reservations for Teppen Edo, and 5:15pm ressies for Ohanas. Is this too much? We are only planning on being in Epcot for one day.

We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids...ages 7,5,2,infant). This is the only day we could get CM and Ohana. Is Teppen Edo worth it? It looks like a really neat place to eat, though I'm not sure my kids would eat it (they are EXTREMELY picky).

Any thoughts would be appreciated...THANKS!:goodvibes

Honestly, I would skip Teppan Edo. You might not get out of there until 2, then have to eat again in 3 hrs- it would be horrible to not be hungry at Ohana!!

You'll be full from breakfast and could probably get away with some snacks in the World Showcase or grabbing some QS meals.

Yes definetly too much. DH and I just got back from WDW a week ago and we did 3 TS's a day for a few days and we were so stuffed we almost felt sick. I would definetly cancel one of your reservations.

I agree...Ohana's is all you can eat and there is tons of food. Your breakfast is early enough so I would also skip the TS lunch.

Table service meals, though wonderful, take up LOTS of time. I agree with above...cancel Epcot table service and snack throughout the World Showcase. There is plenty of fabulous counter service choices to get you through the day...and if you only have one at Epcot, you won't want to spend it in a restaurant. (Don't miss Soarin'... only ride I've been on anywhere where the audience claps at the end-every time!!)

I'm going to come at it from a different point of view. We had breakfast at CM and were starving in less than an hour after leaving. Breakfast should be hard to screw up but somehow CM managed to do it. I say keep your lunch ressie for now and wait until after breakfast before making the decision. If the breakfast was filling, then just call or go to guest services to cancel.

Do you also plan to let the kids nap? It doesn't seem like you will have a lot of time for actually doing stuff besides eating and napping. I would keep the ADR's and play it by ear that day. If you're in Epcot having a blast I'd skip lunch and even the dinner, but if not you have them to go to.

we do the Deluxe for short trips and have had 3 TS in a day...my advice is make sure you schedule these meals 5-6 hours apart. So your breakfast & lunch are barely far enough apart...and you lunch & dinner are definitely not far enough. My suggestion would be to skip the table service lunch & just get some counter service mid-day. Maybe even split a meal

Also, that's a LOT of traveling to do in a day...from Chef Mickey's to Epcot, then from Epcot to the Polynesian. Unless you're staying at one of the monorail resorts...then I guess it would be do-able. But looking again at your stats...with 4 little kids no way would I try to get to 3 restaurants in different places like that in one day. In fact, unless you're actually staying in the Contemporary, I would not go there on a day I was heading to Epcot...not convenient at all. With the kids, I'd plan on eating at my resort mid day if taking a break. If not taking a break, all meals would be in the park we were going to be at. It is going to be quite the undertaking to get anywhere with 4 young kids in tow, and even if you have your own car that's a lot of coming & going. You'll all be exhausted, lol.

I don't think 3 is too much in one day if you are used to eating 3 meals a day but I agree with the other poster that said they are awfully close together.

I have 3 planned in one day. Akerhaus at 8:15 ... Teppan Edo at 1:30 ... Tonys at 8:30.

I would try to spread them further apart. I also agree that is a lot of traveling!

I agree. We had the the deluxe plan on our trip in February and we did 3 TS meals every day. But we had breakfast between 8-9, lunch between 1-2 and dinner between 7-8. I picked quicker TS meals with lighter options for lunch and that worked nicely for us.

I think your meals are a bit too close and that you will end up wasting a lot of valuable park time due to your lunch plans.

It's too close together. I'd skip the TS lunch.

We are only planning one TS meal a day, due to the time it takes. Depends on what you want to get out of Epcot. If the dining experience is what you are going for, then go for it. But if you are intending to explore or hit some rides, you may run out of time.

Also, I only planned one TS that day because we wanted to try the different foods as we explored the World Showcase. Didn't want to be so full we couldn't snack as we walk.

IMO it's way to much time and food, especially with small children. When we took my grandchildren (3, 4 & 5 at the time), we only did three TS meals all week, and that was plenty for them. You'll have very little time to actually see Epcot. Skip the TS lunch. There's plenty of good CS available. We like Sunshine Seasons in the Land if you're in Future World at lunch time.

3 TS per day is doable but in my opinion your reservation times are way to close together. We did 3 TS per day on our last trip due to the DxDP but we ate at 7:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 8:00 PM and even then there were times when we weren't hungry. 12:30 to 5:15 is way too close in my opinion. ;)

On days that I have 3 ts meals book I usually go for an early breakfast 7.30 - 8.00 am a 2pm lunch and a 9pm dinner giving a big enough gap between meals.

It would definitely be too much for me. Two all you can eat meals in the same day would be too much for me. Ohana is huge amounts of food and Teppan Edo is a good amount. Since you're not totally sold on Teppan Edo I'd skip it and do a snack at midday.

I'd skip Teppan Edo. You honestly will not be all that hungry after breakfast that morning. The days that we tried that many meals that close together on the DxDP we were not all that comfortable by the end of the day.

I agree with some of the PPs--3 can be ok, but space them out more. We did 3 TS a few days on our last trip--and it was ok, as long as there was plenty of time between them.

I just think that if you keep it the way it is now, you will not be hungry when you go to 'Ohana.

Not only is a ton of food, it's a ton of traveling around. You will have to get to CM's very early (if you have a rental car it is going to be easier), then monorail over to Epcot, which can take at least 45 mins total. Which means you won't get to Epcot until 9:30-10ish. Tour around for a few hours, eat again at 12:30...out of there by 1:30. Tour around a bit more, and leave for the Polynesian, via the monorail, by 3:30. You need to leave an hour to get from one spot to another...just in case of wait times. You could get lucky and get right on a monorail as you walk up at Epcot, but again, you may arrive just as it is pulling away..which means a 15 mins wait. Then, once you get to the TTC, you either have to transfer to the resort monorail or walk over to the Polynesian.

I just think all that eating is going to take a ton of time (for eating and traveling) away from your park time.

Sounds like alot to do and lots of moving around from Resort, to park, back to another resort. Could it be done...sure, but I would skip the lunch. Good luck.
