Is 3 pm on a Sunday a bad time to see WOHP?

We have three day passes and have been to Universal multiple times. However, we have not been since Harry Potter opened. We have three day passes. Due to time constraints we will probably only use two full days but we would have the option to go one evening after we arrive.

Would we enjoy just going in for Harry Potter on a Sunday around 3 pm until closing at 7pm? Would the lines be insanely crazy at that time? It will be Sunday, April 21st. I was thinking of eating supper at Three Broomsticks and just exploring the area. We would return again another day.

I think it'll probably be okay. It's always busy in there, but Sundays tend to have lower crowds in general. The only question mark I would have is whether spring break is completely over or not by then--I think it is.

Hi Michelle,
The Hogwarts ride will be busy - we visit in the summer and lines are sometimes upto 210 mins !. It will be quieter in April and it is after the Easter holidays (just) but I think you should be prepared for of line of 90 mins - if not so long then that will be a bonus. There is lots to see though as well as the rides. We love this part of the park we are Harry Potter fans and it has been done very well - if the rumours are to be believed - the Jaws closure may lead to an expansion of "Potter" to Universal Studios.
Have fun,
Splodge.

Thanks. I'll really have to prepare my kids as we've never waited 90 minutes for any ride (Universal or Disney). They may actually be just as happy walking around the Harry Potter area and decide to skip the ride all together.

They are so spoiled between Fastpass at Disney and my being in a wheelchair that they have come to hate lines. We were suppose to do Universal last year but it was the 1st time our school vacation fell on Easter week. We are use to a quiet last week in April. They saw the line of traffic to get into Universal (which we had never experienced before) and said "let's go back to the pool and swim, we'll be back in future years".

I'll be there that exact day also! I'm hoping for low crowds too, of course. That Sunday is listed as slow on the calender. Soo close now.
