Is 2015 The Year To Skip WDW?

I got free dining with bounceback, so my DD and DGD and I will be going in Aug. 2015. I just turned 65, so I can't afford to wait at my age. I'm healthy now, so I'm going!!!

Oooh, that'll be awesome!! I can't get my hubby to come off the wallet enough to stay deluxe. One day..I'll keep pestering him until he breaks. Ha.

He has had some health issues this year and part of that is the Crohn's Disease he has had since he was a kid has caused cirrhosis of the liver. Right now it is very mild but there is no telling what will happen. He could live for many years like this or within the next year or 5 it could get worse where he could need a new liver or part of one so we decided to splurge on the 2 hotels we had been the most interested in. This will be our second time doing a split stay. We hope we can go. He is in his early 40s and I am in my late 30s. We do not have kids unless you count our dog.

Oh, man. I've got several friends battling Crohn's. That's awful. I'll be praying for your husband!

After our August trip we decided to take a break due to all the improvements being done right now. It was just too much going on at once for us. The hub did not bother us much, but AK is our second favorite and it was a big downer. Super excited to see it all completed and will be back when things settle down. Our first trip to Disneyland is going to fill the gap in 2016.
