Is 2-D animation really going extinct?

All PIXAR films I have seen have been in 2d.

I have yet to get a cool set of glasses in any DVD box. Did I get ripped off or what???

At one point, Jim Hill used to be a moderately reliable source, but in the past year or two, he's been *waaayyy* off the mark more than once. I presume that to be the reason for the laughter.
