Heres the stats of what we want:

May 6, 2011
Evening wedding at the wedding pavilion
Reception at Tamu Tamu courtyard in Animal Kingdom
Doing a buffet for the reception
Expecting about 50-60 people

Will have to get a motor coach to shuttle our guests from Wedding Pavilion to Tamu Tamu

Brides wedding dress should be around $1000, probably not anymore than that
Renting a tux for myself

Then there are flowers and the decorations for the table
And not sure about music, but it would probably be something simple like a DJ or just hooking up an ipod with music we like

Do you think that we will have enough or is $15,000 way to low? Am I forgetting anything?

Is that including transportation and accommodation?

We're hoping to do it for $15000 too, we will have less guests, but not doing a buffet, so I think that makes it more expensive.

We're having an Ipod to save costs there, and our reception will be at the Grand Floridian, so we're hoping to get away with it without a bus.

Also, we have a slightly higher budget then the $15000, but our accommodation, flights etc are not coming out of that, and will come out of the extra.

Hopefully our honeymoon will come out of the extra as well.

I did have a really good budget thing drawn up from past brides BEO's, but my pen drive just died, so all that good info is lost :sad2:

we are hoping for $20,000 for 75 people. But we are going to have a dj and i have ran the numbers and i def think it is do-able. We are getting married at the WP on may 7 we will probably see you, haha

I totally think it's possible. We have 35 guests and are at $11500 without taxes and service charges so I think that it's definitely possible. You'll have to decide what's important to you that you can't live without and be very selective. Use flowers that are in season so they cost less.

We are hoping to stay right around 15,000 for our Wishes Wedding January 7, 2011. We just know that there will be a lot of do-it-yourself stuff to cut costs, but with the numbers DFTW gave us, it should be totally do-able!

You can definitely have a wedding for $15K just not an evening wedding (IMO)...dinner is $125.00++ per person, plus $3000+ for the wedding pavilion, $1500 DJ, Cake, Flowers, transportation, Tamu Tamu fee, favors, linens, etc. This doesn't include ur dress, his tux, gift boxes, invitations, hair & make-up shoes, photography and videography...I think to pull it off you would have to sacrifice some of things you might want. We had the make that same decision and decided on a brunch reception at end.
