Is $149.00 a good deal for DSi or should I hold out?

Morning all!

I am a Retail Widow (virtually won't see my husband until Christmas) and I have young kids so I can't go out today for any deals so I started looking online for Nintendo DSi and all the websites say they have it for $149 down from 169 but I didn't know if that was just today and I should be happy saving $20.00 or if I should hold out for better deals?

Not a great price- I thought I saw it for $119 in one of the black friday ads!

Well I have been looking for a couple of hours... I havent seen anything at the big retailers.. or google, but I will try a search or 119!

ETA.. looks like I should have been paying attention the week before Thanksgiving! Deals for 119 ended Wed.. but thanks for the possible tip!

I think that they reduced the price a few months ago from 169 to 149 and they still have the signs up saying now reduced. You may be able to get one with at least a few extra's like a case/cover or game for that price now.

The DSi XL now sells for $169.

Amazon has a DSi bundle right now w/Mario Party for $149.

Just wanted to make sure you know that there are 2 models for the DSi, the original DSi which now sells for $149 and the DSi XL which sells for $169. HTH.

If you can't find anything cheaper for the Dsi alone I would go with the orange or green Dsi bundle from amazon for $149.99, no tax, no shipping which includes the DSi, the Mario Party game, and a $25 credit for a future video game purchase from Amazon. That's a good deal!

I went with the amazon green/orange bundle as well... free shipping, the $25 gift card and a mario game. They also had the Nerf armor for the case, which my 6 year old informed me is the 'bestest case for a ds, if Santa thinks he was good enough for one.'

Totally agree if the child likes orange or green. Mario Party is loads of fun, DD's been playing it since she was 5ish. With the game sales for DS games on Amazon, you may be able to get 2 games with that $25 credit.

Thankfully DD 12 is on a Green kick..she may hate it a year from now, but she will love it at Christmas!

We were just at Target and they have the white DSi for $119. I wished I would have noticed them before 10 am, and I would have gotten one and then got the $10 Target gift card. Oh well!!

Microcell, you got a decent deal but Nintendo is coming out with a new version of the DS next March called the Nintendo 3DS which will have 3D capabilities without the need for 3D glasses. It's going to be epic. I would have held off until then if I was you.

I got my DSi XL on Amazon on a lightning deal 3 days ago for $139. My middle son saw the XL and now is set on getting one.

There is a good chance it will come up again for that price on Amazon before Christmas.

GameStop has the DSi Mario Cart bundle which comes in Orange or Green and a Mario game for $149.00 and it also comes with another free game (out of a choice of 2).

I picked one up today around 9am and they had PLENTY left.

I was thinking about the color thing too but then I thought...with all the skins and covers it can be covered up. I got one orange bundle and one green bundle. I have been looking and keep missing the 119 deals.

You can always buy a skin (static cover) for it if she really hates the color. You can find lots of funky patterns online.

I got DD one yesterday at Gamestop. I bought the orange bundle (DSi, Mario Party, and Starfy game). I traded in DHs old DS, so it made it $118 w/tax.

I bought 2 of these this past Sunday for $119 each. Does anyone know if Target will do a price adjustment on them?
