I was hoping for Shades of Green, but they're booked and offered me WL for $134.

I had planned on one night at Courtyard Marriot, 2 nights at Contemporary (SoG) and then the last night at Courtyard Marriot and getting the Star and Stripes pass. Of course this all hinges on what Disney decides to offer for the military special and when that happens.

Or, maybe I should just hold out and see if they offer the AllStars again for $55?

This is a last minute decision since they annouced releasing some special for military. Dh will be getting out in about 9 months so we'd like to take advantage of whatever we can before then. We have to keep this as low cost as possible because we have not saved nearly as much as we had hoped to have before returning. In my initial planning, I only counted on him getting in free. I have to keep this under $1000 (I did our last trip so I know I can).

So should I book WL or wait for the military special to be announced. If I book and pay the deposit and we decide not to go, will they refund my deposit?

I would take it also. The resort is just beautiful and that is a good price for a deluxe resort.

Where did you hear that they were announcing something special for the military?

$134 for Wilderness Lodge is AMAZING! Jump at the chance! I'm paying $94 for a moderate and would LOVE to get that deal for the WL. It's a BEAUTIFUL place!

Be careful here, it depends on who you book through, CRO, WDTC or DC. ~:D~
