Is 10 yr old to old for Pal Mickey

I was considering ordering a Pal Mickey for my 9 year old surprise b-day trip for my daughter in Jan, do you think she will think its to childish??? I have no idea, since I have never seen it. Thanks!

When we go in December we will be taking our DD who is 3 with us for the first time. I'm using her as an excuse to get one. What am I saying? Even if she wasn't going I would still get one for myself.

I used my DD12 (now 13) as an excuse to get one on our trip in May. But, I carried him around most of the time! He's fun! I'm taking him on my solo trip in January!

My 9 year old loved Pal Mickey and we BOTH had lots of fun with him. I saw other adults (without children) carrying around Pal Mickeys. Most kids I saw recently at the parks didn't have Pal Mickeys but they sure were checking out the one my child had.

I just got one on a buy it now on ebay. Seemed like a cheaper price and shipping than the completed auctions. It was $47 with priority shipping (should be here tomorrow ). I don't know what they go for in the parks, but I thought it would be fun to have one on our 5 day car trip anyway!!

My dd is a mature 10 and has been saving for a few months for a PM She even had a not so loose tooth that she managed to have fall out after a week of working on it so the Tooth Fairy could give her $10 Disney Dollars LOL We are leaving the day after Thanksgiving so it's crunch time LOL
I just ordered him for $40 from Premier Outlet. A great dis member posted their number and for $27.99 plus $10.99 shipping you get him in 3 days
I figured my dd could still pay us back since she wanted to use her own money and have an extra $20 for more spending in the parks

I have twin 10 year old girls. We just got back and we rented a Mickey for the day. Well, they were fighting over who would hold him all day long! They loved him and wanted me to buy him so they could take him home. Even my 14 year old loved it and she wouldn't be caught dead letting her friends see her with a Mickey doll!
I think I enjoyed it the most, every time it vibrated, I insisted to hear what he said....it was really a lot of fun! Of course I played the games with him while waiting for the parade...and I did pretty well to boot!
