. . .irregardless

It stinks!

It's also why I'm slowly but surely weaning myself off the disboard, it's just not healthy to argue with people like that. I promised myself that my 2,000 post would be my last.

Awesome! So shouldn't we start a competition to see which DISer can be the one to elicit Disneyrsh's next and last post?! Nothing against you, Disneyrsh, I just love a challenge.

Now, back to the hijacked topic:

Today, there will be NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!

Anyone know if you can get a manziere on Ebay? :teeth:

Not sure about the manziere, but I did see a "bro" for sale the other day & it looked like a real bargain.

I'm having a tough time deciding which is the most ridiculous..

Arguing over the official language of Swaziland or emailing a teacher because she used the word "irregardless".

Nope...The email is still tops, but Swaziland comes in a close second.
ITA :thumbsup2

I don't know how you walk around with those things :teeth:

:wave2: I spent 30 minutes of my life reading this quite entertaining thread.

When I hear the word irregardless it drive me crazy! :crazy2:

I think the bigger problem is the students arguing with the teacher. That is the problem I would have addressed with my daughter. The teacher made herself look bad. She didn't need any help from the students.

The helicopter parenting was a new one on me. That is really interesting. My parents did this with my oldest sister. She would fail college courses and my parents would go "speak" to the instructor or professor in an attempt to get her a passing grade. It always worked for them when she was in high school so I guess they assumed it would work at the university level too. (BTW, my sister was diagnosed with dyslexia just a few years ago. She was in her early 30's. It is a shame my parents didn't address that but wasted time making the teachers stop "picking" on her. :sad2: ).

Sure, you can find a bro. But who will wear the puffy shirt????

Are you talking to me?? This is the DIS, for gosh darn sakes!! It's

ALL ABOUT GRIEVANCES!!!!!!!!

:teeth:

I think I've made it through most of this thread but still have the same burning question! (and forgive me if it's already been addressed but I missed it) IS there a way to send an anonymous email? I hope I'm not being just really stupid today but for the life of me I can't figure out how you can send an email anonymously. Even if you used a dummy account, couldn't it be fairly easily traced, at least to some degree?

I have no idea how you send e-mail anonymously. The only thing I could come up with is to break into a neighbors house & use their computer. :goodvibes
