Even if you buy a travel iron you still need to be in the laundry room to use it. You are not supposed to use any iron in your stateroom for safety reasons!

I have a travel size clothes steamer that I always bring along. I iron everything and fold carefully before packing. Then, I just steam out any folds while the garment is hanging - it works beautifully, and it much easier than trying to iron in your room, or fight for it in the laundry room. I think I bought mine at Walmart (I've had it for a number of years). You might want to consider this.
So will I get in trouble if I bring an iron? Also is there anything to iron on in the room? I just cant see walking with 4 peoples clothes to go iron! NOT FUN!!! Someone help!!
When I asked Iwas told it is a safety issue to use an iron in the cabin. I was told that irons are a common cause of fires. Many people posted to tell me how inexpensive the ironing service is on board--I don't remember the exact amounts, but they were very reasonable. The dry cleaning is actually cheaper than it is for me at home. You can search under my name and find the thread, where the prices were listed. I am bring dewrinkling spray and hoping for the best. Will probably send the formals out to be pressed.
