You guys were right...I do need it sticky side down. I ironed it sticky side up, this time with the overlay paper but the colors are very muted cause I did it backwords. However, I am using dark transfer paper and the program (paint shop pro) is automatically reversing the design. Is there a way for that to not happen? I am selecting the media as tee shirt transfer. Is that the problem?

thanks,
jes

Yes, that is probably the problem. Some programs automatically reverse the design when you choose t-shirt transfer as the medium. Try choosing another medium or see if there is a box in your print dialog to reverse the image. If the program reverses it and so does the printer, you should be back to having it the right way.

Thank you for the help - I am trying now to print it with the media type set to paper...we'll see what happens.

So if I am using white transfer paper, this would be a different process? Just curious, right now I only have dark and am using it even on my white shirts.

Thanks again,
jes

Yes, if you were using the paper for white/light shirts, you would want to reverse the image. That transfer paper is a little different.
