Do they sell bottles of this Champagne on-board, so you can bring it home with you?

I know it is part of the wine package, and you can bring home any wine that you don't drink...so I would say yes...

I was thinking that too... but if i don't want to buy the wine package, because DH is not such a big wine drinker. I was going to just decide what i was in the mood for each evening.

We just got off the July 19 cruise -- dh loves champagne and our assistant server talked him into taking a little Disney Magic sparkle home with him! I don't remember how much he paid for it, but it is now in our dining room waiting for a special occaision!;)

oh that's good! i'd love to bring some home, it's something that I wouldn't be able to buy again.. (unless i'm lucky enough to take another DCL vacation!) maybe... but not for a long while.

that will be a special souvinier !

Thank you Bobbin Mom!:p :p

On one of our earlier cruises our head server had suggested that since we liked it so much we purchase an extra bottle to take home. Our server brought it to the table and all of our servers offered to sign the bottle too! They did, we took a picture with all of them, and we love the personalized memories the signed bottle and photo bring back!

That's a great idea!!!

Have to put that on my TO Do list!

We brought three bottles home from our May Western. We have also brought home an empty bottle from each of our three Magic trips, a tradition we will continue on the Xmas 04 cruise. We always get funny looks from the Palo hosts when we ask to take the empty bottle back to our room.

Don't forget, you pay the price of the wine plus the 15% automatic tip.

Enjoy
Ken

I love sweet white wines, the sweeter, the better. So, I tend to love champagne and ice wines. On a trip to Missouri, I visited a small family run winery in St. James. I fell in love with a wine from there, too bad it's so far from home. (shipping is expensive!)

I'm really looking forward to tasting this wine, and bringing home a very unique rememberance.

Thanks for all the information!

Lisa, just so you're not disappointed, this is not a sweet champagne at all, it's quite dry. :) It's a wonderful cuvee, I love Iron Horse, but you definitely are not getting a sweet wine with this sparkling wine. For a sweet sparkling wine you would want to try the Asti Spumante.

I hope you enjoy it! :) They also have it available at WDW at certain restaurants as well.

hmmm. that might change things. I love the Asti, but I can buy that at home....

i'll still try it though. I may find I like it too.

Thanks for the note, Michelle. :D
