I know it`s a little detail, but can you get an iron and ironing board at ASMu? I know we`ll be on vacation and won`t see anyone we know, but I hate to walk around being a wrinkled mess. :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

We live a few hours from WDW, same climate. If you are going anytime soon you won't have to worry about wrinkles. The humidity will steam them right out.

Not that I'm one to iron on vacation...or not on vacation...or pretty much ever. :rotfl:

At POP we requested and iron and board when we checked in and it was delivered to our room. I believe we did it at one of the allstars also. They are not standard in the room, you need to request at check-in (no extra charge).

I just stayed at the All-Stars Music a few weeks ago. When I get the chance to look at my photos, I'll see if an iron & ironing board were in my room (I'm pretty sure they were but a photo will give me the definite answer).

In the meantime, the official WDW website states the following about the All-Stars Music Resort:

- - - - - - -
Room features:
* Most rooms are available with two double beds. A limited amount of rooms with king-size beds are also available.
* Disabled accessible rooms available
* In-room pizza delivery
* Nonsmoking rooms available
* Irons, ironing boards and in-room safes in each room
* Cribs and hair dryers available
* Refrigerators available (please note there is an extra fee)
* Disney Channel and ESPN
* Laundry facilities/services

Were the soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom or was Mousekeepimg handing out bottles of shampoo?
I just read the All Stars are taking out the dispensers at Movies and wondered if they have been taken out at Music also.
Thanks!
Linda

Minnie61650, oh, gosh, I can't remember. I am on my desktop computer presently and not on my laptop where I have stored all of this summer's vacation photos (thousands of them, ~gulp~). When I get the chance later on today to boot-up my laptop, I'll go through my photos and post what I found in my All-Stars Music room this summer.

Ib2loud, I just got done uploading my All-Star Music photos into a new on-line photo album. My resort room had an iron & ironing board in it. Click here for photo.

Minnie61650, the soap/shampoo dispenser was still located on the wall of my All-Star Music Resort room's tub/shower: click here.

I can't remember what the height of the safe is, but you're right, it isn't very tall. Since the depth of the safe causes the most trouble with getting things to fit, I will only address that issue in my post.

Pull out your checkbook. Lay it flat on the table. Then pull out your DVD player. If it is narrower than your checkbook, then it should fit inside the safe (assuming it isn't too tall or too long for the safe). My camcorder is just about the same thickness as the width of my checkbook. Because of that, my camcorder fits perfectly within the safe (thank goodness it is a small camcorder).

I have always been told that the Disney Resorts have safes located at the Front Desk. I do not know how large those safes are, but maybe your DVD player could fit inside that safe if it can't fit inside your in-room safe.

Since my prior post might not have been clear enough to understand, here is a photo of my checkbook lying inside an All-Star Sports' in-room safe: click here.

I hope that helped clarify things a bit more.

We bring ours every trip and I just put it in the empty suitcase with clothes on top and put it on the top of where you hang your clothes. I don't think you'll have an issue but if you'd feel better if it was locked up, it does look like mine would fit in the safe so hopefully yours will!

Hi thanks...it looks like it might fit.
If not i will try the other ideas given here! :sunny:
