OMG!
I went into David's Bridal today to buy my sisters bridesmaid dress. (Lets ignore, for the time being, that my sister is 5'9" and a size 1... and yes of course she is gorgeous... lucky little brat...)
I decided that, on a whim, since I had lost 12 lbs, I would go ahead and try on the next size down in my wedding gown. I almost didn't b/c I didnt want to get discouraged if the smaller size didn't zip even after a 12lbs loss. But... I sucked it up and decided I might as well give it a go.
IT FIT!![]()

I'm SO happy right now, I could scream. I actually did scream at the bridal shop. The bride next to me gave me the dirtiest look but I didn't care, lol. I was jumping around and just so freaking happy.
My bridal assistant said that I have a little "back flab" at the back (I couldn't see it and neither could my sister). I could tell she really wanted me to think about it before ordering the new size. But I know I've commited for the past month and a half ... and look where I am. Why would I backpedal now? I want to lose another 15 - 20!!
I just had to share. I was feeling really down... like my loss wasn't even noticeable.. but I am just so happy right now![]()

Yay! Congrats

In some pics I think my face looks overweight, you know under the chin area, so I was hoping to kinda target there too, esp as the photos will show all that kind of stuff up

Just thought I'd ask how you're getting on with this detox you're doing? Are you still managing to lose as much? I am still on the induction phase of Atkins, but this past week, I've kinda screwed up. I haven't had breakfast at all and my weight loss has stalled. I haven't been eating til 12.30 every afternoon and by then I'm really hungry. It shows on the scales cause I haven't lost anything since Tuesday
It's amazing how important breakfast is to weight loss!
