Irish Pub in PI

Does anyone know if the irish pub has opened in PI, it was under construction in May and I was wondering if it will be open for my next visit in Oct, im sure i read somewhere it was opening "summer 2005"

Apparently it will not open until 1st October. There is a thread on "Disney Rumours and News" and one of the new bar staff has written to say it has been delayed and he is about to start his training on 23rd for a week.

Can't wait to visit when we go next October.

Think that the estimates of an opening date might have been over optimistic by the looks of these pix posted on laughingplace.com this week?

it was surposed to open mid august we stayed at SSR then i was in pool with a guinnes hat on when an irish lady asked me if i was from ireland told her i wasent hat from inlaws who run an irish pub in the uk and hat a freebie she then told me that her husband was opping an irish pub in florida turned out to be the one in DD she told me the reason it is behind was due to the fact in june when they were surposed to be doing a lot of the groundwork it was bad weather and the construction crews would not work in any stroms due to lightning so they lost the hole of that month she said it would oppen mid sept if all wnt to plan.she also said that they were putting a fish and chip shop on the side of it
