HAPPY WEDDING DAY!!!!! I hope it was everything you dreamed of and more!

:bride: :banana: :banana: :banana: :princess:

Can't wait to see the pictures and hear all about it!

We are back!

We had such a great time, it was SOOOO hard to come back!

I will be starting my TR soon, and uploading some pictures as soon as I can find my cord for my camera, so either this evening or early tomorrow.

Thanks for all of the well wishes everyone! We had the best, most magical day ever! I wouldn't have changed anything!

I am slowly uploading photos (Why does Photobucket have to be so slow; don't they know I have tons of pics to share?!?)

I can only get to one page right now without stopping the uploading process, but here are a few pictures our guests took; we don't have the pro ones back yet!:

Amy those pictures are so pretty! I can't wait to read all about your trip!! Photobucket hurry up!!! LOL!

Amy, I love the shots so far. The ones with Mickey and Minnie are always so cute and it looks like you and DH had a beautiful day! Your dress was so beautiful and you both looked so happy, I can't wait to hear all the details :cheer2:

I am still working on uploading and organizing our photos so that I can do a proper trip report, so I thought that I would start with a vendor review:

Hair & Makeup:
Patricia LeJune: A++++

I can’t recommend Patricia highly enough. She showed up at 8AM on our wedding day all ready to go. After seeing how beautiful Carrie looked in her pictures, I booked Patricia to do my hair and airbrush makeup, as well as to do hair on my two bridesmaids. I did not do a trial. She did a really fantastic job, and I was so thrilled I had her come back to do my hair/makeup for the photo shoot the next day, which I hadn’t originally planned on!

Officiant:
Reverend Jack Day: A

I liked Rev. Day quite a bit. He was a very nice, grandfatherly man, and seemed so sincere and genuine. He did a lovely ceremony for us and I was happy that he was part of our day. He did cause me a slight panic attack though: about two weeks before the wedding I confirmed with him via e-mail. The day before the wedding, he left a message stating that he had no ceremony for us!?!?!?! DH called him back and everything was sorted out (he had a ceremony, it turned out, he just wasn’t sure where it was until he called his secretary). Overall, though, I was pleased with our decision.

Wedding Planner:
Karen Serette: A

Karen was very helpful and professional throughout the entire process. I had a couple of minor communication issues with her, but they turned out to be nothing major in the end.

Photographer:
Joe from DPS A++++

Joe was awesome! I haven’t seen the pics yet (waiting not so patiently, LOL), but the ones he showed me on the camera were wonderful. Joe did our ceremony and our bridal portraits at Animal Kingdom and EPCOT (more on that later). He was really cool and you could tell he was really into taking good pictures. He made me feel really comfortable throughout the whole process and was really great to work with!

Violinist:
Rob A++

Rob did a great job with all of the songs we had chosen plus all of the other ones throughout the cake cutting, dance, etc. He played a little “name that Disney song” with us and our guests, which was fun.

Floral:
Rosie A+++

I really liked Rosie a lot. She was so enthusiastic and so helpful throughout the entire process. I liked my flowers a lot, though in hindsight I would have added a touch of color to them. I thought they were going to be very, very white, which is what I wanted, but they had a bit of a yellow tone to them. I still loved them at any rate, though, and was really pleased with everything!

Mickey & Minnie:
A ++++++++

Perfect addition, and well worth the money! They were so much fun, and so good at what they were doing. They helped out with the pictures as well, and were just really, really great! I can’t wait to see the pics with them in as well!

Limo:
F------

Horrible! The only bad spot on our day! We didn’t really need the limo for anything (we were staying at BWI already, and the DP was that evening), so had booked for it to take one of the BM and her Mom and Sister back to their resort. It never showed up, and we couldn’t get in contact with anyone to rectify the problem. They ended up taking a taxi back to their resort. Karen asked if we wanted to use it later, but we never were able to actually get in touch with her to fix the problem.

All in all, we had the best, most perfect day ever! I honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing about it!

Amy, You looked so beautiful and happy. What a gorgeous day you and your husband had! Your dress and jewelry and tiara looked stunning on you! Can't wait to see more!

Amy you did an AK photo shoot????? DF and I were contemplating that but we weren't sure if 1. we could and 2. how close we could get to the animals for pictures. Can you tell me more??? I can't wait to see your pictures!!

Your vendor reviews were great! It really helps us brides out!

We did do an AK photoshoot! We had a great time going to AK the day before our wedding and trying to scout out possible locations. Our photographer said that he had never done this shoot before, nor had any of the DPS phtographers he talked with. He kept finding more and more places to shot, which was great. I think some of the pictures will be awesome (crossing my fingers!). We love AK because there is just so much detail in that park, which made for some excellent backgrounds!

We did have a slight problem with the shoot, though. You could tell that this was not normally done because it seemed to bewilder the CMs at AK. We actually had to leave early because of the Tusker House breakfast. They weren't even sure how to get us out without being seen by guests, but they managed. Joe (our photographer) was great, though. He thought we hadn't gotten enough pictures yet, and said that we should do some at EPCOT as well, which was some great pixie dust, so we got to do Italy and Moroccos in WS that morning too!

When I set up the shoot, they asked me if I was interested in having the animals in the pictures. We really weren't, we were more interested in all the backgrounds and textures. In fact, they said if we DID want the animals, we would have to do a resort photo shoot at AKL, as the animals would be offlimits to us at AK.

So, if you really want the animals, try asking about the AKL shoot. You can still do it in your wedding attire, you will get the animals, and it is 200-250 cheaper than the park shoot :thumbsup2 . HTH!

I can't wait to see your AK shoot pictures and hooray for the extra shots at Epcot! I know when we did ours at MGM our photograher said almost everyone always wants Epcot of MK, so we were able to pick a lot of our locations too.

Thank you so much!!! It is so good to hear there are lots of locations to choose from! YAY for your bonus at Epcot! We would want some pictures with the animals...I wonder is they would do AK and then a few at AKL since that is where we will staying anyway???? :scratchin I will have to ask and look into it. I can't wait to see your pictures and how they all turn out!

I love your photos. Your cake topper is sooo cute!

I cannot wait to see the AK photo shoot pictures. I agree with you I would love to have pictures there because of the backgrounds you could get but don't really care one way or the other about the animals. It is good to know about the cheaper session at DAK Lodge though :thumbsup2
That's exciting that you got to get pics in Italy and Morocco too! Way to go Joe :cheer2:

congrats and wonderful pics- you look beautiful and looks like you had a wonderful day. The pics with M/M are great! looking forward to the AK photos:goodvibes

Thanks, Cam. We did have a bautiful day. I was VERY worried because the day before it was FREEZING, but everything was great for us!

I think getting to work with him on the locations and shots made the whole thing so much more personalized and more fun!
