I am really feeling the pressure right now! Where did all the time go to do all of those things that I had "forever" to finish? I thought maybe coming on here and making a list of everything I have left to do, then updating it daily, would help to keep me organized, motivated, and maybe a little sane because I feel like I am about to lose it Thank goodness our wedding is so small and Disney is doing all of the hard work! I would be a psycho right now if we were having a big at home wedding!

I picked up my dress yesterday and had some drama with the bridal shop . That was the first and only problem I had with them, but I didn't need the drama . They had told me before I didn't need the reciept or anything to pick up the dress (I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get it or if someone else would need to). When I got there, the associate demanded to see the reciept, saying that they had lost some computer info and she wasn't sure if the dress had been paid for in full or not. Well, it was (I mean come on it was only $99!). I pointed out their sign that said no alterations until paid in full and said that it had been altered...twice...so it must have been paid for. She still wasn't convinced, so I told her that losing info was THEIR problem, not mine. The store is 1.5 hours from my and about 45 minutes from my parents, and I need to ship tomorrow so I wasn't about to go find the reciept! Finally she went and got the dress and then just handed it to me! I said I needed a bag or some plastic at least (I was supposed to get a bag). She said it needed to be out of the bag to breath. I told her it was going in my car to get home, so it needed some sort of protection, just in case. She got all huffy because she had "just" steamed it (it took her about 10 seconds to get it after giving up on the reciept, so I highly doubt that). Finally, she put my veil in some drycleaner type plastic bag and got a bag for the dress. I felt like a criminal by the time I left

Okay, enough drama, the dress made it home okay, so that is all that matters!

So now...

Ship my Dress and BM dresses
Finish 4 bow ties for programs
Glue 10 programs together
Paint three more favor boxes
Decoupage 9 favor boxes
Line 9 favor boxes
Make 10 candies for favors
Pick up additional candies for favors
Draw 9 more graphics for authograph cards
pick up mother's gift
get father's gift
make copies of all important documents
pack all wedding things
pack for honeymoon
Buy some hair supplies
Buy extra memory card for camera
Set up video camera
clean house
get farm in order before leaving
write 10 more papers for grad school
get everything in order at work before leaving (which is its own list unto itself!)


Lists help me get things done, though, and if I feel like others have seen my list, I will feel accountable for it and will get it done more quickly!

As you can see, I got some things done, but still have lots more to do. Yesterday I just kept telling myself "just keep swimming...just keep swimming..." LOL! At least DF is being helpful, which is a plus!

If it was me I would have started crying to hysterics and landed myself in the looney bin. They would have handed me the dress jst to insure that I didn't come back!

Lists are wondeful things . Somedays, I can't get anything done unless I have a list. I feel bad when I don't get everything checked off, so they keep me motivated. Now if only things would start checking themselves off...
I'm sure it's some kind of OCD thing. One of the papers I have to write for grad school is on a topic of my choice. Since I am an I/O psych student, maybe I should do list making and productivity

The dresses were shipped yesterday ($68!)! They should be at Carolyn Allen's on January 15th, so I am hoping all goes well or I may have a bridezilla moment! I went ahead and paid for the steaming and storage fees already, so that is one less bill I have to worry about when we get there!

My MoH is still up in the air about coming! I wish she would get the info she needs so she can decide one way or the other. I hope she can come, but if not, I totally understand.

I have been going off of the knot checklist as well. I only have one or two items left on there to do

My dress is now in GA, so it should be in Orlando by tomorrow!

I looked at the 10 day forecast (not sure how much I believe it, around here they can't even get the next day or sometimes even the same afternoon/evening right : but it says high of 73/low 52 0% chance of rain on the wedding day, so right now I am thrilled about that.

I didn't get too much done on my list yesterday, but I did chip away at some items, they just haven't been completed!

Wow!! I just read your PJ, and everything looks awesome! Your dress and jewelry is gorgeous! I can't believe how much time you have put into all of your invites and gifts. You and your DF and guests are going to have such a wonderful experience!
I'm going to Disney on the 20th - I'm so sad I can't go on the 22nd. If I did, I would have to sneak a peak at you guys!

I am REALLY hoping for no rain! We took a chacnce and didn't book the WP on a prayer for no rain, thinking we would just be out $1000 if it was nicer that day. I will be kicking myself if we have to move to one of the rooms in the convention center due to rain though

One week to go!

Last night I finished the candies. I will post pics before leaving, but I had one that didn't turn out right so I decided to eat it. That afternoon I got an awful migrane (it was from going to bed so late every night, not from the candy, but my body didn't know that). I took a nap for a while, but I had things to do. While I was making the last of the candies, it was all I could do not to be sick, as I guess my mind decided it was the fault of the candy that I wasn't feeling well! At least I am totally over wanting to eat each one after I make it, LOL!

My dress is in Orlando right now! It hasn't been delivered, but I'm sure it will be today!

It's getting shorter! All of our wedding paraphanilia is finished now, so that is a relief. Today is my last day of work before leaving (I work M-TH, and M is MLK day so I had off anyway!) so that will be done after tonight. Most of the other things are easy. It's the papers and the house I am dreading. The house isn't too bad, so I guess it won't be a big deal; I just HATE cleanign it; it is so time consuming! I LOVE coming home to a clean house, though! I MUST finish at least two of the papers or I will fail that class. As far as the others go, I will do what I can and see where I get!

I was so excited to ship off the dress! It did make it seem that much more real!

I have most of the research done for the papers, it is just writing them! I can knock out a paper pretty easily, I just need quiet and some space to spread out my research and organize my thoughts. I am spending tomorrow and Saturday at the library, and I hope I will at least get the two done that I MUST complete. Anything else is just gravy, so to speak!

I live over an hour from a library, and work until 6 M-TH so trying to get these done has been awful. Every imaginable surface in our house is covered in wedding stuff so there is no room to work! I will be relieved to finish them off!
