Does anyone who has been on the Ireland trip have recommendations for getting there a day early or staying a day or two late? I'd like to visit the Ring of Kerry or Belfast, or Galway Bay. Are any of these places worth the say, or do you find that once the tour is over you're tired and ready to get home?

Going in September 2012!!!

I have not traveled on the Ireland trip so can't speak directly to that one...but in my experience with other European ABD trips, it is good to get in at least a day early. You'll be exhausted from the travel and will want to be fresh for the welcome reception on the official first day. I will also say that I've regretted not booking a day on the end as well. If you are choosing between either adding on the beginning or the end, then I say book an extra day on the front end.
