IRC Chat?

Does the DIS have an IRC chat room? I realise that it would take a lot of work to moderate, but to have a round-the-clock interactive chat room for people to enjoy would be uber-cool!

I was wondering if the chat board is working....and have been searching the forum all over for any info about it (requirement/rules..etc) haven't found anything...can anyone offer help?
