Hello,

How much is an IPOD set up for the ceremony and reception? Is it even possible to use an IPOD set for a ceremony at SBP?

Thank You,

Annie

Yes, you can set up your IPOD at Sea Breeze Point, it's just a fee. I think it's like $250 or something like that. I'm having the harpist, but an IPOD at the reception at The Attic.

$250 to have it at both the ceremony and reception? Also, who would manage the Ipod?

It would be $250 + tax & service charges at each. They'll have to do 2 set ups. (this is an estimate they are sometimes different fees)
"From Carrie's budget for The Attic: Sound System for iPod.............................................. .$290.95"
I don't know if SBP has speakers already wired, if not the fee will be slightly higher because they have to bring in speakers.

You'll need to designate someone to manage it. I suggest someone who you can maybe meet with and go over the timing of things to be your "M.C."

The price from my BEO that I got on Tuesday is $300 and it doesn't look like there are any fees associated with it. That is to have it at LSS for a our reception.

Hopefully it's only $300 for both the ceremony (SBP) and reception (Attic).

The price varies by location. It can be $250 one place and $900 someplace else. There is no time to move the setup from SBP to the Attic directly following the ceremony, so you will have to pay for a separate sound system at each place.

The price of our outdoor sound system in Epcot was almost $1,000 with taxes and service fees. This included the services of a tech to run it, so maybe you could knock a couple Benjamins off the price if you had a family member run it.

sorry to hijak a bit. Did you have mics? The $1,000 for a sound system for the ceremony is scaring me. I'm prepared if it's the number that shows up, but really don't want to spend that much. (I've thought about teaching my brother to humm to save a few bucks. :rotfl2: for some reason my family doesn't like this idea :confused3 )

Yes - we had 2 microphones, two speakers, a mixer, a CD player, and a tech at the ceremony. The base price was $785 - it was the tax and service charge that boosted the total.

For us, having original recordings of various movie soundtracks was integral to our ceremony. Otherwise, I totally would have skipped the sound system. :)
