Do any of you own a iPod? I have a iPod Shuffle. Yeah, yeah, I know it's small and pathetic but it still rocks! It carries all my P.O.D. and Slipknot songs. =P That's good enough for me.

I have an old 4th gen. Ipod (no color no photo no video no anything!) but it's been malfunctioning lately so it's getting repaired. I have like 1800 songs on it.

I think that's a 3rd gen. I have a 4th gen, which is an iPod Photo 30gb. It was later just changed to a regular iPod with no "Photo" on the end. But I have about 3,600 songs on it so far.

And just a little info the 60gb iPod with video, 5th gen, has been put on the "At Risk" list for stores and things. Which usually means they will be replaced with something else. Seeing how Apples 30th Birthday is April 1st, we might see a new iPod with an even larger screen, possibly a touch screen. And maybe an 80gb Hard Disk.

Have you tried holding down the middle and menu button for about 5-10 seconds? That is a way to reset the ipod. It'll keep all your songs on there, so don't worry. I've fixed a few problems on my mini with this.

I don't know about battery changing though. I'm sure that could cause a few problems.
