iPod trade in at Toy R Us

Has anyone tried to take advantage of the trade-in offer this week at Toys R Us? What did you trade and how much credit did they give you?

I am interested in this as well. Trying to figure out of this would be the least expensive way to upgrade or if I should wait until Black Friday. I bought my refurb for $149.00 from Apple last Christmas so if i could get a $100.00 credit, I would go for it.

Just FYI the only Ipod that has a $100.00 trade in value is the 3rd generation touch 64GB. The 3rd gen touch with 32GB was $65.00 and they go down in value from there. I think that the lowest was for a shuffle and I think it was $5.00.
Also it has to turn on and the screen can not be cracked.

target also has a trade-in program and they give you a GC that can be used for anything, not just another ipod.

The Apple store give 10% off if you turn them in, too. Dd's nano died (her fault, not Apple) and when they told her it couldn't be fixed, they told her they'd give her 10% off a new one. I just wish I could do that and then buy a refurb online!

Anyone know anyplace else that will take dead ones?
